Available in the United States, the DJI trade-up program offers customer the ability to trade in their current action cameras or other technology and receive additional credit towards the purchase of Osmo Action.

Beginning May 15, 2019, at 9 am EDT and ending June 15, 2019, customers can receive up to 20% additional DJI credit of the trade-in value of their action camera or up to 10% additional DJI Credit of the trade-in value of other technology including tablets, cell phones, and drones.

Hmmmm... this is a great concept but the trade in values I see are a tad low... $75 +$15 for the promo or $90 for a GoPro Hero 6 in good condition? I think I'd be better off selling it myself then shopping around for sales/purchase incentives on a new Osmo

Would DJI recycle the traded in equipment responsibly? What happens to the traded in equipment that is in fully working condition?

Love the camera, don't live in the US, dreams blown to hell. Not sure I'd trade anything. I become seriously attached to just about anything lying around

It would be normal to offer the same trade-up program all over the world. Maybe it's just a matter of time ... we'll wait

Even though the trade in values always seem low (compared to selling the items yourself) I would love to see these trade in programes in Europe for those who don't want to deal with the hassle of finding someone to purchase your old stuff.

don't bother guys, this is far worst than gopro trade up program which is no matter what camera you have, no matter it works or not, you could trade up for 100$.
For dji program, like other's comments, it only work for gopro camera, and if it is earlier version, you barely get 20-40$,

Something like this would be good in Australia too, depending on how much the payment would be

I guess it's more of a convenience thing... but you're right. If the amount isn't high enough it will discourage a lot of people

Glad I saw this right before I leave the Philippines for the U.S.  Adding trade in cam to luggage!

Will be interesting to see how many ppl will decide for this deal.

Terrible trade up offer.

Selling an existing item privately would net us 2-3x as much money, with almost zero effort.

And again, call us when you offer some sort of a trade-in program for US/Canadian purchasers of, now obsolete, Osmo Pocket. I'll pay you $100 to take my 5 month old Osmo Pocket and send me a much improved Osmo Action instead.
