Would the Osmo Mobile 2 work with the new Osmo Action ?

The Osmo Action will not fully work with the Osmo Mobile as it will not work with the DJI GO app.

However,  if all that you need is a stable platform for when you are using HDR on your Osmo Action you can move the Osmo Mobile 2 clamp to the phone portrait position and the clamps will now hold the Osmo Pocket.  Adjust as well as you can for balance and turn on the Osmo Mobile 2.  You will be able to use the Follow mode and the lock mode and also the Osmo Mobile 2's joystick.  Works really well in selfie mode with the Osmo Action's front screen enabled.  To shoot with the camera pointing in the other direction you will need to hold the Osmo Mobile 2 backwards which is a bit of a pain but you can point the camera in the general direction that you want and with the wide angle lens of the Osmo Action you should be able to get your shot with a little practice.

Not a perfect solution but it beats handheld HDR on the Osmo Action.

Oh, if you want the joy stick control speed changed or if you want to enable pitch lock you can connect your phone's DJI GO app to the Osmo Mobile 2 and activate/change those features.  The GO app will think that you are shooting with your phone but you can put the GO app in background and retain the settings on the Osmo Mobile 2.  Of course all settings will revert back to default if you disconnect the DJI GO app from the Osmo Mobile 2.

Thanks for the reply, that helps a ton. Would be great if DJI could update their app to include the fun Osmo Action to the DJI Go app to make things easier. Great products should interact.
