External Audio Test with firmware V01.07.00.20 using Edutige ETM--1 Microphone attached to the Osmo Pocket which is 1m from my mouth.
Testing at Osmo Pocket audio gain levels of AUTO, +20dB, +15dB, +10dB, +6dB, and +1dB.
Nice to see a test done properly - thanks. So that implies that the inadequate gain problem is solved but presumably the stereo problem remains?
Thinking aloud... I wonder whether all they have done is to provide some digital gain settings, which actually don't amount to anything that could not have been done in the video editing software anyway? But still, convenient. Ideally they would have changed the analog gain before the A/D stage but I bet they didn't.

Thank you Fansfe82067d,
I was in the middle of another project when the new firmware came out so I have yet to do more testing besides what I posted above.
Look for more in the near future. I will compare some microphone to what they looked like under the previous firmware as opposed to what they look like under this new release.
