Nice shot.  Fortunately the eagle didn't feel intimidated.  I usually am very wary of predatory birds, as they are more prone to be aggressive towards a UAS.

Thanks everyone!  I've been chased by Hawks and they seem to be pretty aggressive from my droning experience.  I have drones Eagles multiple times, even flying with them before I knew the laws.  They tend to be less aggressive unless you are near their nest, especially with eggs or babies.  

Either way, I'm certain to remain cautious and try to obey the laws. I really enjoy wildlife, especially Eagles and Owls.

Haha I've seen footage where they come from afar off to attack! Yeah, I think I'll stay away from the Goldens lol

Glad it wasn’t bothered. I have two white tailed sea eagles who sit on a tree at my flying field. They don’t seem bothered, but I don’t get too close to them. Oystercatchers near my home are another matter.

yeah, my wife and i try to be very careful about that.  i have several videos where id fly with and chase eagles, hawks, etc until i was educated that it actually can cause the bird stress, plus in most areas, it's just illegal.  so, we enjoy getting footage of these special beautiful birds, but don't want them to feel disturbed or scared.

thanks for your thoughts.  from what i understand, bald eagles arent aggressive unless they feel you are threatening their nest, eggs or chicks.  i could be wrong.  and we stayed far enough away to not disturb him/her....  at least we thought so.
