I went out shooting some Hyperlapse sample footages and try some use cases.
One of the great benefit of the Hyperlapse mode is that it support object tracking.
You can take some dynimic shots with this.
Also I usded go pro clip accessary to mount pocket on the shoulder strap of my bagpack.
So I can take Hyperlapse footage totally hands free.
Such a nice use case for travel vlog to fill the moving between locations.
Also tested is focus speed.
and it was suprisingly fast in my case but let me know what is your experience.
I suspect that this focus speed only possible in very good light condition...

Hello and good day Tide. Thank you for sharing this Hyperlapse update test footage that you have created. Great work and thank you for your support.
Excellent video, Tide! I actually thought the number that you adjust on the left when setting it up for a hyperlapse was the 'shutter speed.' <insert facepalm here>
I've already posted these on the forum, but since the topic is about hyperlapses, here's two I made yesterday in Cambodia. The first one is at 10X just riding around on the back of a moto, and the second one is the father-in-law cutting open some durian fruit for us, at 5X.

Great job there, both with the instructions and test footage. Going to try to shoot some hyperlapses this weekend for sure!

Looking at your second video give me an idea for hyperlapse.
Shooting someone making something and rotating around until it is completed.
It would be interesting.

Thank You for the video. Thinking about to buy a Osmo Pocket now when you can do Hyperlapse. Her with my Osmo mobile 2 and OnePlus 6,
Does anyone know what happen to the setting save timelapse original photo in the Mimo app? When I got my Osmo Pocket the option was there ( See the manual Page 11) with the latest update it's gone, and therefore no dng files when you select jpeg/raw option. Thanks!
nice footage, especially the motion tracking on the store front with the digital clock.
a question on the shoulder mount, do you think it would be a better design if it was more flush ? These mounts always look as though they stick out a fair bit. Or maybe that's needed ? I haven't tried one yet...

Hi MKosmo,
I also thought it could been more low profile but when I actually used it, some gap was needed for button operation and for angle adjustment. (Since the human chest has a complex contour)
PGYTECH data port mount was particularly good because it positioned at the pivot point of the Pocket and balanced well when mounted.
