Gopro does it in 4K. Why are the pocket and action limited to lower resolutions during hyperlapse. Will there be an update to allow hyperlapse in 4K?

Then, maybe this belongs in the "Action" forum. Does the Action actually do hyperlapses? or are they simple slower frame rates?

I assume so. I think the 1080p footage is kind of worthless to folks who are usually shooting/exporting everything in 4K, and then have 1080p footage to play with if they want to do any of the fancy shooting modes.
