The Khotyn Fortress is located on the bank of the Dniester River in western Ukraine. Construction was started in 1325, while major improvements were made in the 1380s and in the 1460s.

Another nice one Michael. From you postings, the Ukraine had need of a lot of fortresses. Since Australia was populated by Europeans during the age of the cannon, we don't have many of the classical fortresses.

Thank you Andy! It is one from a few that was preserved well through Soviet and modern Ukranian period. Most of others fortresses and castles unfortunately are in more bad condition.

Thank you for the kind compliment. There were many wars there because of important location it the center of European continent. Ottomans, Bulgarians, Tatars, Moldovians...and many others.
Instead you in Australia have much more diversity in flora and fauna, Ocean, Mangrove Forest, Big Barrier Reef and so on - Heaven on the Earth.

Thank you Arnie! If to be honest, I had spoiled the composition when shooting that. I think, the drone should be much lower then it was and more closely to the object. Hope I can repeat it someday

Thanks Captain! Actually it was a series of shots, but no one of them was good. In post editing I tried  to improve composition and color but the result is still too far from perfectness.  So all I need to do is...go there and shoot it again Hope I could do this soon.
