Newbie here.I just received the Mavic Air as a college graduation gift. I currently have an iPhone, but was planning on switching to a Google Pixel 3a. Does anyone here know if the Pixel 3a is compatabile with the Mavic Air and smartphone app?

I would recommend using a recommended mobile device for the DJI Mavic Air for compatibility anad reliability purposes.Upon checking  the mobile device ( Google Pixel 3a ). I am sorry to say that the mobile devices is still not recommended for your DJI Mavic Air. Actually, there is a  possibility that the Google Pixel 3a will work, however, since it's not yet optimized with the DJI Go 4 application we cannot guaranteed the stability of the DJI Mavic Air and of the DJI Go 4 application if this will work all the time while using the specific device.  We highly suggest you use the compatible device that was listed on the recommended mobile device list below to avoid any problem. I've used the Pixel 3a for DJI Mavic Air and Mavic Pro Platinum. I'll test it on the Spark and Osmo Pocket this weekend. So far it works great and I am REALLY enjoying the 3a. Fast processor, great camera, nice and sturdy. I've only had it for a week but it seems very capable so far. I'd recomend it.

I have the Pixel 3a running Q beta 4. I can't get the DJI Go 4 app to run. It keeps closing. I guess it's back to using the iPad mini for me.

Hi there. As of today the Pixel 3a says it's "disconnected" from the Magic Pro. Flight controls seem to work, no image, rendering the thing pretty much useless...

Same, are you having the same problem or you can fix it??? It happens to me with the new update, the 11. 10 was just fine
