Traded up from Phantom to Mavic Pro, all is great except when I try follow me mode I get not enough satalites?

I am using ipad mini 3 and tethered to my Samsung S10+.

I know mini ipad does not have gps thats why I tether to my phone. While flying I get full GPS mode and
have not had any problems. But today I thought I would try follow me and get Not enough sats even though
I get 17 sats on the remote and the DJI go app?
I did get active track to work without any probs?

Can I get this to work?

Hi, we're sorry for the inconvenience. I would like to clarify if you've managed to test the follow me mode using different mobile device that has a GPS function to isolate the problem? This particular feature would require a GPS on the mobile device and it's separated from the GPS that the aircraft could detect. Please let us know the latest progress. Thank you for your support.

Personally, I am using an iPad mini 4 Wifi only and a bluetooth GPS ( Garmin Glo ) and it works OK.
I dont think that your phone return the GPS signal to your iPad.
You can verify that by using an app like 'NMEA GPS' available on the app store.

It will work on your S10 but not on iPad.
Active track dont use GPS to track you.
17 sats is on the drone not your controller or device, it's just displayed on both.

Tested and works with S10 :-)  will have to get new GPS module as the one I have works with Jailed ipad!

My mini 3 is not jailed so will have to explain to wife it is a nessesity ;-)
