Hi Folks,

You may notice that the forum menu bar has changed. And some of you may feel much weird, can't find the thread/menus, or don't know where to post.

  

Here we shared some tutorial and tips about how to use the forum to find a series of threads quickly!

  

As you can see, all the DJI Product has been including in the 'Product' category.

  

  

Each series of product category will not show all the product directly.

  

But, here are two ways can help you to find all the thread of one product.

  

1.       Use the ‘search’:

  

  

E.g. If you want to find all the 'Osmo Action' threads, type 'Osmo Action' in the search box, click the button, then all Osmo Action threads will be displayed below.

  

2.       Click the tag in front of the thread title:

  

  

E.g. If you want to find all Osmo Action threads in the 'Product' category, click the tag in front of the thread title, then all the Osmo Action threads will show up.

   

  

Some of you may be thinking about how can I create a thread if it is about Osmo Action?

  

It is very easy, enter the 'Product' category, click the 'New Thread' button, select 'Osmo', then you can choose a subtopic!

  

  

After filling in the content, click submit, then you will find An 'Osmo Action' in front of your thread title!

One question : when you open a thread, you don't see the sub category somebody choose.
So you don't know what product he/she used when you are in the thread.

One more question :
With the combined products, the amount of sticky posts is getting 'out of hand'.
Is there a way to reduce these, since you have to scroll al long way down before the new threads start!

Why would you CHANGE something that WORKED just fine as it was?

By far the worst decision ever made on your part.... not only have you made it more difficult for users to find answers on this forum you have made it nearly impossible to find the correct thread...
You should revert the changes... there's a saying: "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT"  but you guys went above and beyond that, turning this int a useless forum... If what you're ultimately planning on doing is keeping everyone in the dark about how to fix problems  just take down the site

The new forum update is indeed very confusing. How do I see the DIGEST threads under SPARK now? When I select SPARK and click on DIGEST, I see only 4 threads now.

I must admit that the forum is on the verge of being unusable at present, what used to take a few seconds to find now either takes minutes or just cannot be found.
Please add subcategories to the raw lists to improve the situation.  MavicAir - Discussion, MavicAir - Hardware etc.

Chronological order in the search results would be very beneficial.  I looked in the Inspire 1 section, and it starts with 2017-4-16 , and the next line is 5-1 14:04 , then to 2018-8-31.  Can you maybe fix this?

What a shambles!  It worked very well before, so why on earth did you change it?

If you own an Inspire 2, then you want an inspire 2 forum.  If you search for a post concerning the Inspire 2 within the Inspire forum then you only get the results which mention Inspire 2 in the title, I think.

I suggest that you revert to the original system asap!!

These new forums are dysfunctional and unusable for me. A search for Smart Controller results in - No thread in this forum. What?
There were previously many threads about Smart Controllers. Where have they gone?
If the idea is to deter DJI drone owners from frequenting these boards then the forums 'upgrade' is a resounding success!

For useful discussion and information my first stop will now be https://mavicpilots.com and https://inspirepilots.com, these people know how to
set up and administer forums. (Links to their other drone type discussion groups are at the bottom of the page.)

I'm not sure why this change was made but I find it to be very difficult to find anything now.

When users to come to this forum, it is to find information about a specific product, so naturally threads need to be sorted by product, with links on the home page, and most logically  sorted by most active/newest threads first.

Instead of searching the DJI Forum now I just search with Google - many times it will lead me to the thread that I was looking for in this forum anyway.

Please reconsider your organization of this site, the user experience really is not as good as previous.

I give up! This new structure is unusable.

Yeah, we will reduce the number of sticky posts, to make sure you can find the new threads easily.

I have also lost interest in this forum. The way it is now it is useless.
So. DJI. Please delete my account for security reasons on this forum. It's not needed anymore.

AGREE 100%.  It worked fine before.  It sucks now.
