My friend have an old Mavic Pro and he have an option to use a custom button for Gimbal up/down.
But in my newer Mavic Air have no this option. I can only use this button to Gimbal up. But if I press it again, nothing happened and gimbal dont turn down.

Is it intentional or a bug?

I hoped so. But the reply what I got here and the message what I got from Litchi costumer service... I'm getting doubt about it. So it's probably intentional by DJI to not add this feature.

I don't think it's a hardware problem. Surely they will solve it with a firmware update. We have to trust the DJI engineers.

If you look for this feature in this DJI forum, you will find many comment about it older than one year. DJI admins always tried to told, engineers will solve it. But one year passed and nothing happened.

But we cannot do anything else then hope they will add this feature.

Maybe they have other priorities. I hope the DJI engineers do not forget. It is a very good resource, in the spark I have used it a lot.

I use it all the time on the M2P - amazed it's never been on the MA

From what I've read, nobody finds an exact explanation. Neither the admin's know what may have happened.
