Hi,

As part of a feasability study for our university we are participating in the project MEDIDRONE.
The task is to deliver medicine via drone in the rural area Salzlandkreis, Germany. We are using a Phantom 4 Pro+.
We have several questions/problems and need answers, if what we try is possible.
1st: Is it possible to fly the aircraft without the camera, in order to avoid lawsuits?
2nd: We have discovered there are possibilities to navigate the drone autonomously, using waypoints. We need it to do the following actions:
Start --> climb to 99m --> fly to the destination waypoint --> sink to ground level --> drop a package --> climb to 99m --> fly home to basis --> sink --> land
There is one major problem as of now. We do not know how to make the drone notice it's on the ground. The ground triggers the drop mechanism. Only after that it is supposed to climb again and fly home, the underlined part being the problem. How can we make the aircraft do this? (The closest thing we found out was to fly to the customer and let it sink close to the ground, then make it climb again, without leaving the package, not fulfilling the mission)
