I saw in a couple of posts people saying the samsung S3 tab has a screen brightness of 732 nits, but the measured values in reviews are mostly around 440 nits.  My current tab is a lenovo tab 2 a10, 370nits. Its virtually dead, jim. I can get a tab4 with 400 nits (*spec from lenovo) for half the price of an s3.  I would pay more for nearly twice the brightness, but not for 10% more. So what's going on here? are there more than one screen, have the reviewers stuffed up or is the 732 nits wishful thinking?

If you're willing to pay twice the price then perhaps you should get the Smart Controller with 1,000 nits
