DJI Goggles vs RE?

The resolution is higher with the basic version?  I'm just looking for someone that I can use in sunny weather and being able to see the screen.

DJI RE having mad issues unless you have a Smart Controller.  I'm canceling the order.

It has too many problems.  The drone hovering in mid-air with everyone crashed until you turn the Goggles off is nuts.

In chronological order, I've asked before hard researching and the findings were it's better to not get it.  I need supreme reliability when flying these things in the air especially by but not over lots of people and things.

The best is to get nothing or wait for a newer version.  It's like the age when the Sparks had small latch batteries going around.  When I joined into DJI after custom drones in 2015, everything is pretty much matured.  All the major kinks have been removed.

I've seen some great feedback on Goggles RE. Sometimes you need to learn whether something is actually good or not by using the product yourself rather than relying on third party opinions which are often bias.

Yeah but the reports of people getting complete cut-outs and the drone remaining mid-air with no signal and no RTH Until the goggles have been powered off is insane.

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. DJI Goggles RE 2 (red and black): This product supports 5.8 GHz frequency. It is recommended that users attach the antenna to the DJI Goggles RE 2 to avoid signal interference to the image transmission and gain better flying experience. If users do not attach the antenna, it is recommended that users choose the 2.4 GHz frequency for a better experience.

I'm not getting the everything froze and the drone isn't RTHing until the Goggles are turned off issue.  The only way to fix this is to have the $750 controller but then you cannot use DroneDeploy.  All 3 DJI products I use are ultra-reliable but the other issues w/ the other drones is too scary for me to involve in.
