Is there a limit to the times you can ignore an update of firmware, app, flight zone data base, etc?Would the app at one point not allow you to take off?

This is simply an empirical question, not wether it is unsafe, not smart thing to do.

DJI rarely forces firmware updates to be installed. While it's usually best to install all updates, you can ignore the update prompts if you don't want to install those updates.
