Hi everyone, this was a special day in Ashland Oregon. I was asked to film using my drone of the airport operations during the 26th annual Airport Day. We set up communication's with the airman flying this event and my drone was located in an special designated area. Safety was paramount and we all worked together for this successful day.

Erickson Air-Crane flew the Sikorsky S-64 Sky-crane with water drop that is used supporting forest fires for all West Coast States. Helicopter and airplane rides were also happening for the Kids and Adults.
The airshow director asked for some samples of our work so.... I just did some quick edits on the DJI GO 4 app with links to Skypixel from my iPad...  he was blown away.  So it looks like we will be doing more in the future   Of course, the 4K videos are spectacular and will be provided to the customer.

Thank you for the kind words. This truly was a fantastic experience. Even in high winds the Inspire 2 holds a solid line.

Yes, this was a great opportunity and Lots of people came over after our flights asking lots of drone questions, giving me a way to talk about drones with a positive spin

Thank you for your kind words      So the winds were gusting up to about 18mph and we had to stay inside the designated safety zone. My Inspire 2 was solid as a rock.... only the pilot making any framing mistakes.  But as you know, there has been much talk about the Inspire 2 drifting around and not holding position.  Some of the official's watching commented on the stability and precision of my drone. I hope with will have positive results with the aviation community. Also, it helps when you are a retired pilot and can pitch the appropriate information to the flight director of the event.

Ashland is a very beautiful small city in the foothills of Southern Oregon. The community rallies behind the local activities. This was truly a fun event to be apart of!
