This was filmed Sunday June 9th, 2019 in south Florida.
As I was editing the video from this flight, a quick flash caught my attention. I slowed it down to examine it and this is what I saw...

A flying insect.  The Spark camera has a relatively large depth of field so even a small insect flying close to the lens will appear as a fairly sharp dot.

Some years ago there was a UFO phenomenon called “Rods”. These were seen when the video play back was slowed down and many in the UFO community considered these to be a new form of life due to the unique shape. They appeared as rods with some sort of propulsion system running their length and observers claimed they varied in size from a few inches to many tens of feet. After analysis, by those still capable of critical thinking, it was deduced that they were just regular flying insects and their strange appearance was an artefact created by the speed of the insect in relation to the speed of the camera’s rolling shutter.

I think it looks fast because it's small and as a result it's closer than you think.  Definitely a straight trajectory and appears to be climbing.
