I am very excited . I just got this yesterday after passing the exam. I have been working toward this for a while now (about a year). I know there are a lot of "certificates" out there but this is through Professional Photographers of America, who also certify Professional Photographers (CPP), so in my mind it carries a little more weight especially if you are using your drone for photography and videography.

I believe you need to be a PPA member (the governing body). Then there are criteria you need to met: FAA 107, insured, registered and a minimum level of flight hours to be eligible...then you have to take and pass the exam.

In Canada such certificate means absolutely nothing, beside elevated ego of a holder . One must pass difficult government exam (Basic for hobbyists and Advanced for professionals) to fly legally.
