Just a tiny peek at this part of the Australian state of Queensland. All shot with M2P and polar pro ND filters. Color graded in FCPX with neat video 5 plugin. The plugin removed noise but also moiring in the final shot due to excessive detail, a common problem on the Mavic Pro 1, but first time I've seen it on the M2P.

Thanks Dronie, not happy with the Vimeo compression artefacts though, especially when the light hits the lens in the first shot, but that's the way it goes!

Thanks! I would hope so as I work in broadcast! To be honest I don't even think about the obstacle avoidance stuff as I only have myself to blame if I hit something, so I give it several runs first then go for the final shot.

Thanks Gelert, yes I was hoping that was the case at the time by layering elements like the hanging vine. Also I brought the blacks down a bit to highlight the depth of the forest.

However sometimes it really is "can't see the woods for the trees" for me as when I look back I can see slight changes I want to make, which I will do shortly. That's a good thing about Vimeo, at least you can just update your video seemlessly. In terms of colour, I pretty much advise staying on daylight white balance and then deal with it in post, although in the UK your light may be a bit "bluer" so can't speak for over there. I hope your hatred for me gradually subsides, I find a good cup of tea does the trick!

No I tryed to shot in Log, but results after grading are not like your videos.

While I keep the masters in HLG I still color grade in the old Rec709 colorspace (not the native Rec2020 of HLG) and by exporting in Apple Prores 422HQ I still maintain the 10 bit color, of course to get that right through to Vimeo I also encode the mp4 as H265 10 bit through "Handbrake" for that file. Can try to advise you but I am only familiar with the FCPX workflow as that is all I use right now!

Do you use the DJI LUT? H264 or H265 codec for capture? Could you share a sample of non graded footage to see if we can obtain comparable results with our workflow?

I shoot in HLG which is H265. I don't like LUTS, I like to grade each shot individually. Happy to supply a short original clip but don't think you can do it here!
