I've been trying to update the firmware on my Mavic Air for like 2 weeks. I've tried multiple times but keep getting the same error:

I found a forum post here where it was suggested by DJI support to try it with the DJI Assistant. I went and downloaded it...then realized it's for Mavic 2 or Mavic Pro...I don't see one for the Mavic Air. Before I realized that I was trying to connect the drone to my iMac but the Assistant wasn't picking it up.

Any other suggestions? I see there's an old, unsupported Assistant...is this the one I'm supposed to install for the Mavic Air? (On another note, while installing the assistant you have to install some dodgy looking 3rd party software so it can connect with the USB cable or something...and during install there was some message about future versions of the OS not supporting this. The whole thing seems unprofessional for a company like DJI.)

Hi calcos, sorry for the late response. Just to verify, has the drone been involved with crash or hard landing before? If not, you may download the latest DJI Assistant 2 here and check again: https://www.dji.com/mavic-air/info#downloads Alternatively, you may change to another PC to verify.
