DJI product failed causing catastrophic damage

During a routine flight mission, the design of the Ronin MX failed. The Ronin was purchase in April 2018. The failure happened during the “return home” after the second flight of one large mission using the DJI GS PRO. There was no apparent damage beforehand, but once the M600 finished a flight and was returning home, the Ronin MX snapped and broke apart at the roll axis which caused several $1000s in damage. Has anyone else had an issue where a DJI product mechanically failed causing severe damage? Did DJI cover any of the damage? Does DJI have any input on this?
