Many posts on the OP User facebook page that the new firmware will not download and install. Anyone seeing the same or have anyone completed the update?

Same here error on all different IOS , using WiFi and cellular same issue ..guess they screwed this one up , prob be fixed in a few days

It seems broken to me. I tried all of the tips to fix it, but it still fails.

I am also getting an error when trying to update.  I'll check back tomorrow.

If DJI hasn't posted it to this forum, wait!  It's not ready yet!  Don't brick your Osmo!  This should be obvious.

Not that obvious if you don’t visit the forum and Mimo tells you there’s an update.

There's always a possibility the server is flooded.

Yes, same. App says 1.08 something available. Android phone says 'Firmware installing...' but stays at 0% before some time later says device disconnected. If I detach and reattach camera, it sometimes instantly hits 50% and says firmware update failed. Tried many times. Tried resetting and reformatting. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Also tried iPad pro, but it says can't verify firmware at all.

Camera still works with 1.06.00.3

Why 1.06? Should it be 1.07?

Also chatted with support. Explained problem, but they made no mention of new firmware or reports of any problems. Said to complete an email requesting support for return.

I just purchased camera yesterday and 1.06 was default version. App immediately alerted to 1.08 firmware.

I'm not sure that it's ever wise to rush to update any device.  Let others discover the problems!  I was about to update a phone once, checked the relevant forum, discovered that everyone's phone had been bricked - permanently - by the update....

I'm not sure that it's ever wise to rush to update any device.  Let others discover the problems!  I was about to update a phone once, checked the relevant forum, discovered that everyone's phone had been bricked - permanently - by the update....

There is no 'rushing' to update when the app automatically prompts the user to update to the latest version. By your logic nobody would update their device. The manufacturer is responsible for releasing the firmware to the app for the user to update. The customer doesn't seek it out.

Strange, It's been over 12 hours and no official response from any of the DJI reps. Some form of official statement would be nice
