Hi,

are there any plans - if it's even technically possible - to add additional FOV settings to the osmo action? Like 120 and 90 degress?

Cheers.

option to choose several modes of FOV just complicate things, i think you would have to tune rocksteady and dewarp to suit each FOV option.
even if you changed lens and so that way altered FOV i think it might play havoc with some settings in the camera then, say you have put on a 90 degree lens, turn on reocsteady and dewarp and you would then have a more narrow FOV and the current rocksteady and dewarp values would be off.

In post software you can also get or make dewarp profiles to suit your different cameras / lenses, so using a wrong dewarp profile would make the end result less optimal.
say you used the gopro 6 black profile for a recording made on your DSlr with so and so lens, that could turn ugly.

Hi,

understand that by activating rocksteady and dewarp, the default FOV of 145 will be reduced.

may i know what will be the actual FOV with rocksteady and dewearp ON? the FOV will be the same for Video and Photo modes?

Thank you.
