Being able to see the feed is the most important thing.  No idea how come they don't make Smart Phones that you can attach a heatsink to w/ a heat pipe to beat the throttling.

Wonderful review after almost 6 months!
I also use this controller (mainly when traveling) as well as an iPad Pro 11" and sometimes (connected with a longer cable) my iPad Pro 12.9 which I then put on a microphone-stand... Fantastic equipment... now I am eagerly waiting for instructions about the new EU flight rules...
I have my papers to fly here in the Netherlands... but do fly out of our borders... sssssst!

Buy... if you can... you won't regret it! I also waited quite some time but now... I am very happy that (when travelling) I just can take everything I need in just ONE hard case!!

Has anyone posted anything with regards to getting GroundStaion working on this or a workaround?

Im aware you can use Dji Pilot PE on the Smart Controller but am not knowledgable enough to know what the differences are in Ground station and Dji Pilot?

I would like to be able to create multiple waypoint missons on the smart controller via Ground Station or similar, and then load them when im at SAID locations.

At present Ground Station Pro is only available for IOS devices and not available for Android. Any updates from Dji or anyone have a workaround? (And no I do not wish to use Ipads or Ios) i bought the Smart Controller as an "all in one solution"

If I have to contonue to do waypoint missions via smart controller and drone on and such then thats lame.

Or is there an ability to Use Ground Station Pro on my macbook Pro and export the Waypoint Missons ONTO my smart controller? Be it via Sd Card or similar?

Great review! I ordered a smart controller, as well as a Mavick 2 Pro. I was so excited when I opened everything up, but got sick to my stomach when the video feed screen was grey.After spending time witht customer support, I sent the control and drone back, so they could asess what's going on.
I'm confident they'll figure out what's going on, and I'll get them back in good working order. When I see reviews like this, it makes me get excited to start using my setup to start taking some awesone photos and videos of Eastern Kentucky!
