Well, congratulations. That's possibly the sharpest video I've seen of this type using such a small sensor.

After updating to 1.08 the images come from pocket have been noticable sharper.

Beautiful.  Perhaps the Pocket will become professionally used for wildlife videography.  I think I am right in saying that the depth that is in focus is greater when the camera is close like this, than a similar shot obtained with a long lens from a distance?  So small movements of the target will not result in loss of focus

Yes this is correct. But sometimes it is not possible.
An advantage of the Osmo Pocket is that you can put the camera unnoticed on a tripod and control it via the wireless module from a distance via the smartpone.
