The original Osmo Action Case won't fit in the usb-c cable for charging.

So I made this DIY project by modifying an existing action camera case in order to address this issue.

I think the solution should be easy and cheap to do by yourself.

Thank you for your comments.

Nice work.  I have thought of using the Dremel on the original case but am not rushing to do it (g)

I had similar dilemma of whether to use the existing osmo action case or not. The surgery on the existing action casing probably is much more than the one in the video.

Why not just remove the USB-C door before installing the camera in the case?

ok, nice; but...

all this non-sense would'nt be necessary if DJI just put a damn standard screw mount hole on the bottom. Would have added a few millimeters to the overall size, but certainly still be smaller than with all these cases! Why oh why?! Just so you can market more accessories!?

Very dissapointing!

Why not just remove the USB-C door before installing the camera in the case?

The door prevents water/moisture from entering the internals of the camera and also dust or grit.  So the option of opening the door while still inside the case can be convenient to copy files or charge the camera.
