Big crash at Larch Mt. yesterday. Went up with my drone along with my neighbor for a little flight. Just took off and George said he couldn’t see my strobes. That’s what I get taking my eye off the screen. Crashed in the tree about 40 feet up. Nothing we could do. Went home and dropped off George. Had a little time before I had to pick up my wife at the airport. So, I headed back up the Mt. with 100’ of rope and a wrench. Tied the rope to the wrench and after 30 tries I finally looped the wrench over the limb. I draped the rope over the limb and let it down the the ground. As I pulled on the limb I found it wasn’t where the drone was, Still I pulled back and forth quite a number of times till finally my baby came down. Wow, what a relief. Nothing broken. It’s all my neighbors fault.
