While traveling to Downtown Chicago, I always noticed the spire from this church and was always curious to see what the church looked like. So I stopped off in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago to take a look.  Hope you enjoy!!

Here is a little history on this architectural landmark in Chicago:

In 1894, architect Henry Schlacks was commissioned to design a church building at 5848 to 5850 S. Princeton in Englewood, for German immigrants and a German-American settlement established in 1886. Originally constructed as “St. Martin’s De Tours,” the Gothic Revival structure was said to be modeled after a church in Mainz, Germany. The name was later modified to “St. Martin De Porres,” honoring the Roman Catholic African-American congregation which settled in Englewood.

None needed

How come ? drone code says no no over homes cars etc unless 150m which is above the legal 400 feet height unless your PFCO qualified and people are under your command. ?
