I visited family in New Hampshire and shot some video with my Mavic Pro. This is from a place I always found quite idyllic, a small meadow with a stream and old railroad grade. I flew along the railroad, around the meadow, and followed the brook out into the woods before climbing up for a view of Mt. Monadnock and the trip back. I learned that the brook empties into a reservoir in the next town which feeds a small hydroelectric power plant. I have some footage from an old stone structure just upstream of the plant which I'll post soon, along with some other places.
I am trying to learn to use Davinci Resolve and this was only my second attempt to do any sound design. I found a Bach cello piece from Musopen, a source for classical music, and some nature sounds from Freesound. I think it works okay, but open to feedback. Also working on my grading. I shot the footage in D-cinelike and messed around with the grading tabs until I thought it looked pretty good. It took some work to get everything somewhat consistent, as it was shot on two days, one with clouds blowing through and changing the light. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of it but the rendered video came out a little flatter than i expected.
