Hello All,

I just received my new Phantom 4 RTK. Out of the box I connected to the internet and performed the latest firmware update. My current satelite map is however a white screen with Chinese writing on it with and a winking face.

The company we purcahsed these units from is unfamiliar with the drones they are selling and not very hepful.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a solution or something I'm missing?

Thanks

I tried the factory reset as mentioned in the forum above but this didn’t work. It may work for other phantom 4’s but everyone in that forum seems to be referencing the DJI GO app and not the RTK app.

I had to:
1.        Go to the home screen of the GS RTK app. This is the screen that shows the photo of the Phantom4 RTK with plan/fly at the bottom
2.        Select the three line symbol in the top left. This causes a window to slide over from the left side of the screen
3.        Select the gear symbol (settings)
4.        Select the third line down dropdown “select map type”
5.        Select “mapbox” this deselects Amap which is the Chinese version
