I'm new to the Mavic Pro and DJI.

When flying the drone manually, the home point has been set at the location of the drone. During take off I hear an announcement that the Home Point is set. However, when taking off with software, the system seems to be setting the home point to my location (ie the Remote Control's). I have had it try to land in on the roof and in the woods. I'm wondering how to change the settings in DJIgo to set the home point based on the drone's location not the software. Any advice would be helpful. I've spent several minutes searching online and don't seem to find any posts related to this problem.

You can use the aircraft location or the remote controller location as a home point for your DJI Mavic Pro. All you need to do is set the Home Point Setting to your preferred preference on the DJI Go 4 application before flying your DJI Mavic Pro. I hope this can help you. Thank you.
