Can you stand the Ronin SC on its tripod and use the app to film and track yourself while walking in front of the gimbal?

Depends on how the object must be selected. If it only works with the rear camera, might not be able to select yourself without having access to your phone's screen from behind the camera. I don't know how the SC's tracking works though, so DJI may have this working with the front camera or other means anyway.

Update: I believe Active Track 3.0 automatically detects humans and can he activated on the SC with a trigger press, which means you should be able to activate tracking of yourself even when you are not behind your phone. No need to select yourself for tracking. I'll confirm later this week after the units we ordered arrive.

There is human figure detection. Just tap the trigger on the Ronin-SC and it should select the human subject in the frame as long as you're somewhat centered to begin with.
