Is the below still relevant for the SC from DJi-Paul in the Ronin S forums-

"for the roll axis, as long as it not tilting one or the other when you let go, it should be fine"

"the motor will handle the rest' - with a mention of checking power usage

Cannot get the roll axis to balance without blowing out the tilt angle (tried riser and balanced lots of past gimblas- a tricky one on the Wee bill as well)

A73 and 16-35 F4

Thanks for any advice.

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to balance my a7iii with a ride pro mic on my Ronin S but it keeps hitting the roll motor when I tilt the camera up. I don’t know how to properly balance it if I can’t make adjustments when it’s caught in between there. Any advice?

Not how I would have liked but like the post I have the roll axis centred and leave the motors to do the rest.
Concern I have is I can hear the motors working even without moving the gimbal. So again not sure if that’s ok

Thanks for your answer. Have you tested it with other lenses?
