It's only a few days ago I returned home from my trip to Thailand. It's my first trip to this amazing country where I ventured out into the depth of the jungle, snorkeled with sea turtles on a remote island and much more! For this video I used GoPro and the iconic DJI Mavic Air, which really helped giving this video some depth and variation with aerial shots.

It's actually my first time travelling out of the country with my drone so it was quite interesting and the portability of it just makes it perfect for travels. The editing and color grading etc. was done in Premiere Pro and is probably not too unfamiliar for most of you. But if you have any questions at all feel free to ask and I will happily answer you right away.

My best tip for anyone who consider making these kind of videos would be to visualize what you want to do from home and perhaps think about how you can make some of the transitions beforehand. For example, the one where I jump from the jungle to the pool and where I put my hand down at the elephant footprint to the real elephant. These are all things I thought about when planning my trip and not something I just spontaneously thought up. Other things which are important to think about is the Intro and Outro to give a catchy first impression and make sure they come back for your next video!

Rathi, nicely done my man!  Great video and love those transitions!!  Totally agree about thinking about some of those shots before you travel and really planning some of them out in advance.  Just posted a new video myself and that's the exact thought process I had....would think about shots I wanted for hours or days before.  Keep up the great work...

Thank you so much and thanks for asking! Sounds really exciting. For how long are you going to stay there? There is many good parts but I can highly recommend the island Koh Tao, it's not as touristy as the islands surrounding it. + Awesome place to fly with your drone!

Also I cannot express it clearly enough, do NOT support all the elephant riding and animal abuse which happens some places for the tourists etc. Instead I can really recommend a visit to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand who provides sanctuary for sick and disabled animals.

My dji product quit working in Thailand.  I shipped it to the authorized service center in Bangkok and they said since I  bought it in America I need to send it there. What kind of BS is that?!?  If it's an authorized service center why do I have to ship it thousands of miles away? Do they not know what they are doing here??? So basically if this thing breaks while living in a foreign country you are screwed. That's the message I am getting from the DJI authorized service center in Thailand.

Wow that makes no sense at all. You should contact DJI and let them know of this ASAP and see what they can do for you. I hope that you get it fixed, it seems really strange why they couldn't help you out in Bangkok.. Anyway, good luck. I hope it will get resolved quickly!
