I have also run into the now known issue with the Zenmuse XT and XT2 cameras.
Unfortunately my XT2 does not show any live picture when attached to the Matrice 210 drone. I have control over the gimbal and can see a temperature data on the black screen, but unable to achieve a proper live picture. I also detected that the XT2 now requires two SD cards to be inserted in the two SD card slots, otherwise I receive an error message saying that the camera requires an SD card for either slot 1 or slot 2.

I have the latest firmware installed on the Matrice 210 and the XT2 (Zenmuse XT2 Firmware V01.00.00.20) as well.
However, I noticed that the XT2 now refuses to re-install the firmware as if no SD card would be inserted.
I also noticed that using dual downward payload, neither the XT2 nor my other camera, the Zenmuse Z30 shows any picture. However, if I attach only the Z30 to the drone, it presents a live picture.

According to the DJI Pilot app, the drone is ready for flight, the status of every component is normal.

Please advise how I can solve this issue.

unfortunately I have not found any solutions to this issue yet. I guess, we will have to wait for DJI's response.

this is strange, I did not experience such a mistake from the drone.
My drone detects the XT2, I also can control the gimbal, but I do not have a live picture on the XT2.

I downgraded the firmware of the M210, but it did not solve the problem. Then I upgraded again to the latest version, but again, it does not fix the issue.
I cannot re-upgrade the firmware of the XT2, because it is already updated to the latest version.
Sometimes I see som blurry grey thermal image, sometimes not.

Does the official DJI staff watch the DJI forum? How could I contact them to fix the issue?

I had the same problem (dji m210 & XT2). I installed again remote control firmware and now it works but sometimes the black screen “come back” and i have to repeat the operation on RC.

Is this still a problem? I just bought a Matrice 200 v2 with a zenmuse xt2 and I am having this issues as well! I also am unable to activate the air craft. So sad that a brand new drone has so many glitches

I have been having the same issues with the m210 and Xt2. Just last week (3/5/2021). I updated all firmware on the drone, controller, and camera. After numerous powering ons/off we only manage to get real time video feed for one short test flight. We have sent the camera back to DJI once before and got it back with a misaligned RGB camera lens.  How did you initiate the return and support? I have been very disappointed with the XT2 from the unboxing, it has never worked as advertised (plug and play). For such a expensive camera DJI is really dropping the ball.

I have the same problem with one of my M210 aircraft, but not the other.  Both are M210 V2 RTK, but one displays the XT2 thermal image and the other does not.  I've tried using the Cendence from the working (displaying) M210 with the non-displaying M210, but that did not make a difference.  I've tried updating all the firmware, but still, one M210 will not display the thermal image from the XT2, and the other M210 WILL display the image from the M210.  Very strange.
