I have a question,
I recently bought a phantom 4 pro v2 and I’ll be doing commercial work,
Is it necessary to put that little foam piece on every time I go to a location or just the plastic piece to hold the gimbal in place is enough?

Hello and good day. Thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend placing a piece or foam or a piece of plastic on the gimbal of your DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2 while on flight or while in use. The piece of plastic or foam can affect the movement of the said gimbal and can affect the mechanism of the gimbal as well and may lead to damaging the gimbal of the drone. Thank you.

Put the gimbal lock and the foam piece on the drone when not in use as this will help to protect the gimbal during transport and storage. ALWAYS remove both before turning on the drone.
