I'm trying to power the original Osmo camera using a part 49 external battery extender:




I'm using a D-Tap cable to connect to the extender.
The extender claims it supports an input of 12-26.1 VDC. I measured the output of the V-mount battery at 16v.
However, with everything connected, the camera doesn't power on.

Does anyone know if theres any adaptation (step-down converters, etc.) that would make the Osmo work with a V-mount battery as a power source?
