I've just order a ronin sc and I'm totally afraid because I can't have the information about ronin sc and GX80 compatibility.
I don't really care about the buttons of the ronin, I just want to know if I will be able to calibrate the ronin sc with my GX 80.

No need to be afraid, you'll be good with the gx80. Just remember to order the dedicated Panasonic cable from DJI and you will be good to go.

Do you know which cable is needed ?

Because I don’t have rss possibility on my gx80

The problem is that I don't have this input on my GX80. :/ and I don't have infrared possibilities also

The gx80 can still be used with the ronin sc, it just requires you to initiate the shutter on camera rather than via ronin sc.

Ill have a look and see if theres a workable solution, need to find our gx80 first.

Works no issue with g7-g80-gh5s-a7ii-a7iii all tested.

Everything works fine except the ronin features like (timelapse, remote control of camera ..) because my panasonic GX80 can be paired with the ronin

I would say upgrade your camera to enjoy the full potential of the ronin sc, it is worth the added expenditure.

It's  questionable as we cant seem to get the g80's shutter to work with ANY cable including the new rss cable for Panasonic . All Our Sonys work, our GH5s works, but not the 80,  go figure

For those using Panasonic Lumix G80/85

fully tested the lumix G80 with the Ronin SC and dedicated rss cable for Panasonic  and the 'only issue' is the shutter realease cannot be operated from the Ronin SC.  Everything else works as it should ........flawlessly. Focus wheel, app functions tracking, timelapse, etc.

A minor issue was with the wiring whilst using the focus wheel, not a big issue and simple to tidy up with velcro straps,

OTHERWISE IT'S GOOD TO GO

@M2Wair, I'm afraid your answer is off topic. The OP is about the GX80/GX85. I assume with lack of an RSS plug this camera is not fully working with the Ronin SC.

You are correct, the gx80 is without rss capability, however I also did state for those using Panasonic Lumix G80 G85 its good to go, so hardly off topic on a ronin sc thread surely.  Whatever.

I have Ronin SC pro and Lumix G7 and i buy RSS For Panasonic. But this setup dont work. Fast record on the Ronin don't work, timelapse don't work. Ronin App last version, Ronin firmware last version, Lumix last version. What's settings you yoused?

Please can you help me, i have a gx80 too, but which cable is the right one? It does not start without cable connection :/
