Form Follows Function
Osmo Mobile 3 is not only foldable; the new design makes operation extremely efficient, featuring vital controls manageable with just one hand. Thanks to convenient buttons on the handle, users can control the gimbal’s movement and access useful features with ease. Quick Roll rotates the orientation from portrait to landscape by pressing the Mode (M) button twice without the need to remove the mobile device. The redesigned form no longer obstructs the charging and audio ports, allowing for easy connection to charge the device or use external mics. A trigger helps maneuver the gimbal by locking orientation, rotating the gimbal for selfies, and even re-centering when tracking a subject. its sad to see DJI start doing relabeling items, this ATOM is wildly available a year ago, and u could fund raise in indiegogo for like USD$100. i dont see DJI bring much on the table

and yes... i guess every one is hoping a new drone, especially less than 250g with 4k ;)

Apart from the (handy) folding arm, I’m not seeing any great technical difference between this and my Osmo Mobile 2 !

Any thoughts how this would work with moment lenses?

I agree,  there's a few software tweaks like better active track and story making.  If I still had my OM2 I probably wouldn't upgrade,  but since it was stolen I have an excuse for a new one

20 days wait from them,  but in the announcement they said Apple stores would have them I think from tomorrow and it's the same price.

Change my world? I think not.  250gm 4K drone would have.

Osmo Mobile 3 can attach an external lens, however, external lenses may affect the balance of the gimbal. Large, heavy lenses are not recommended. Please ensure the total weight of the lenses and the phone is less than the recommended weight 170g-230g.

That was the main reason I sold my Mobile 2 and picked up an OSMO Pocket.

I love the pocket, but sometimes feel the added bulk of a larger gimble gives me smoother footage.

It looks like the prices on DJI's website are $20 lower than they should be - $99 for the Mobile 3 and $119 for the Combo. Might be worth getting it now if you're interested before the price goes up!

What? No new drone. Come on DJI, what's happening with the innovations of new drones ? I'm getting tired of the recycled phone cam devices already.

Ive got 3 note 9s and use this exact same zero lemon case for all 3. I think he weight may be an issue.

Doesn’t matter for me because ive already pre ordered 3 note 10+‘S  and the cameras on those ar insane. I’d get this if the note 10+ will work...

What I realised is , how much we complain or show our dislike that much faster we buy that product.

For me the price offers great value @€109 original mobile was €200 or very close to that maybe even more, I think the simplicity of putting on the phone the fact it now has the trigger back all the new tech including hyper lapse AT 3 and the small form factor for it’s a no brainer to certainly trade up from mobile1 and for the price if you don’t own one then this is a lot of tech for such a competitive price .

I ordered one ....

Does version 3 solve the problem of shaking iphone (VR)?

Does it uses the same batteries ??

It has the same battery as we see in Ronin C 15 hours operating so yes new .
