Somebody leaked what appears to be pictures of what came to be called "Mavic Mini". apparently smaller than the Air. It is foldable, and has a different battery from anything we've come to know - two round cells inside a compartment at the back. Somebody has speculated DJI is trying to come out with a drone that would weigh 250g or less.
The model in the pictures appears to be a lab model, far from production yet. Painted in base dye layer, the props are attached with philips screws, some outer parts are missing. Looks like it will have obstacle sensors at the front and the bottom, perhaps also on the sides (unclear whether they are meant to be sensors or vents) but not at the back or the top.

Specs have been leaked on dronedj.com, under 250g indeed,

according to the leaks it will have a 4K camera and cost $399.

Looks like a very interesting little drone to bypass quite a number of airspace restrictions if it does come in at <250g...

More than likely and will probably be a little annoyed having to change all the legislation - but that will depend on the capabilities of the drone. The fact being that a drone weighing <250g does not pose as great a risk in collision with a manned aircraft - though I doubt a Spark will bring down a 747 but you know what these aviation authorities are like lol
