Happy Tuesday people!

So, been deliberating for a whiile on this..... I've left it late i know! So i still have the spark, and love it still especially for its size, how portable and quiet it is and how no one really takes it seriously and doesn't think its a proper drone!!

I've had  £250 credit with a local camera store since last birthday so that helps. I'll get to the actual question........

Do I buy the MV2P pre Snowdonia holiday in Sept or do i do the sensible thing and wait till Black Friday or even Xmas when it will clearly go down a bit in price. Tough call and i'm struggling to reach a decision.


I was reallllly hoping the recent announcement (OSMO3) would be for the mini mavic which i would be all over like a rash but alas no, still in rumour phase!!!! Maybe next year they'll release the new spark replacement....

Thats a tough one but given that the Mavic 2 Pro is such an amazing drone I have to say get it now and take it with you to Snowdonia!

I might be tempted to wait until into the new year when all DJI aircraft will have 'airsense' fitted by default:-

I know it will drop in price this year which will hurt and to be fair the new mavic mini or any other new drone will not be out until 2020 i would assume but who knows. Still torn but you are of course right with that advice

I know as tough as that will be to resist, of course the most sensible plan is to wait! Can't imagine it will be long before they either reduce price or announce the new drone.... Hoping it will be the mavic mini to replace my little spark!

I don't think a Mavic Mini will lead to the M2P price dropping as it will be an inferior drone - more on the same level as the Spark or Mavic Air.

No i'm sure you are probably correct there, I just meant i'd commit to the mavic mini AND buy the MV2 if it went down even £100 in price. I will probably get both the MV2 and the Mini!!

Keep your eye out from UK based DJI dealers - I have seen brand new M2P's for £1200

Well, cheapest non ebay price i can find is £1349 still sadly! It will happen soon though for sure

Argos were selling it for £1200 quite recently but all prices seem to be back to RRP now
