The main Cathedral here in Norwich has installed a Helter-Skelter slide inside the main part.Using the hashtag of #SeeingItDifferently, they are encouranging peole to look up and into different parts of the Cathedral.

Here's a quick film using the Extension Rod...it sure is hard to be smooth and steady.

I saw that - and the resulting controversy - on the internet news.  You said that you find it hard to do slow and steady - I guess you mean using the joystick on the rod, rather than simply panning down in follow mode (which can be easier!).  The clue to the joystick seems to be to actually use two thumbs on it, one to move it and the other to kind of resist the movement.

You bet, and some serious hassles from some of the deeply religious folk.

Yes, and on social media, it was fun watching the "offended' vs the "get over it' comments on Twitter.
Yes, using the Rod,  easier on the Osmo Mobile, I need to be able to slow the moves down... I did film in slow motion and then speeded it back up in imovie, but not smooth...practice I guess and figuring out how to use the follow mode as you suggest properly too!

Cheers,
Chris

I'm not a religious man myself but yeah, I could imagine that may offend some that are. Artistic in a way but not perhaps too appropriate in the eyes of some. I think its quite cool but each to their own I guess
