The altitude you see in Exif infor is a rough (very rough) altitude above sea level for the drone's position when the image was taken.
Despite the labeling, it does not come from GPS.
It can be +/-60 metres  or worse.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. GPS measurement uses the data transmitted to the receiving satellites by the receiver to calculate the pseudo distance between the receiver and the satellites at the same time, and then measure the approximate position through a fusion algorithm. The accuracy is limited, so the deviation may be above 100+ meters depending on the hardware. The deviation may include GPS satellite errors (due to the position and angle of the satellite system changing), errors related to signal transmission, and errors associated with receiving equipment.
At the same time, the GPS of the Phantom series is only available in the GNSS Radar system with only two types of satellites (a total of 7), so there may be deviation with other GPS devices. Hope that this would help to your query.

does that mean the height that appears in the photo information table is not from the gps but from the reference msl?

The height shown in photo information (Exif info) actually comes from the barometer (despite being labelled GPS data).
It's an approximation of height above sea level but can be very inaccurate because air pressure varies considerably.
The number cannot be relied on for accuracy.

I am still confused, so the height writed in the information comes from the barometer on the drone or comes from the GPS signal, if it comes from a GPS signal what is the height reference so that the figure appears? is it from MSL or from ellipsoid? sorry the question confuses due to mapping

ALthough the data label suggests it is GPS data, it really isn't.
It comes from the barometer.
It is very, very inaccurate.

Do some testing for yourself.
Shoot a test photo from close to the sea or from a known altitude and see what you get.

I have flown above the sea and have photos that the Exif info tells me are from 200 feet below sea level.
