Sorry to hear you're having problems with your done, if it's under warranty try to reach out to DJI Support..

You could refresh/update the firmware to the latest, i couldn't see what phone you were using, but i assume it is a compatible phone.
Also it sort of looked like taking the SD card out of the drone helped your signal issues lol, not sure if that's what happened but that's the way it looked in the video.
If you have your receipt and it's inside the warranty period you should be able to get it sent back to DJI for a repair, If you don't have your receipt you'll have to check your drones serial number for the activation date.

I’ve had this drama in the middle of the desert, in the middle of the ocean. Basically everywhere location does not matter. Different sd cards do nothing either

One thing I noticed, taking off from a concrete floor is a real no-no. You can bet that concrete has reo in it and that will screw up your compass.

Be careful, it definitely looks like your craft is faulty, hopefully nothing bad happens.

It would suck, crashing the aircraft, or experience a fly away, to prove a point...

The P4P is without a doubt the least reliable drone DJI have ever released. The gimbal alone is a nightmare with the motors being underpowered and riddled with design faults.
