spark front obstacle sensor fleshing redlight all the time/ no errors are shown in the status bar + still flashes even when there are no props installed
already tried recalibrating but didnt work.

is the front sensor suppose to be flashing all the time?

Are you talking about the front LEDs? If that's the case, it's normal. They will keep blinking red and will turn off once you hit the record button.

S-e-ven is correct.

What you are seeing is the infrared emitter of the forward obstacle avoidance  assembly pulsing.

How it works in simple terms is the system sends a pulse of infrared and then waits for the return of a reflection.  If a reflection is received it measures the time difference between that and the original pulse and calculates the distance the drone is from the reflective obstacle. A very similar process is used in the vertical visual positioning system so that a more accurate height above ground measurement can be made at low altitudes. However this is ineffective over water as water absorbs infrared radiation.
