Panasonic X900 (travel camera and for train spotting)
iPhone SE + iPhone 6s (timelapses in the car + gimbal shots)
DJI Osmo Mobile
DJI Mavic Pro
2 tripods
Power bank to charge the Osmo + iPhone while taking motionlapses
So I had a lot of file sorting and selecting to do
Plus I tried a couple of animations that I was not familiar with (using Davinci Resolve)
But it all went very very organized and I can now share a little compilation of our 2 weeks in Sweden!
Have fun watching and if you have questions, please ask!
Amazing work Monty. Very creatively edited. Great time lapses in there. The one at 3:10 was stunning.
Thanks for sharing what looked like a great vacation

Looks so much fun. Are they your children? they are so lovely. Nice video, you should submit it to the #Summer event! ;)
Thanks Panda!
Yes they are
I could, but a lot of the video was captured with non DJI equipment, so I'm not sure if I will meet that requirement.
Still waiting for the day you release a Full Frame camera mounted on an Osmo device

Oh wait, you already have with the X7 (sort of), but that is totally out of my budget
Yes, I used Davinci Resolve for that.
Plus Affinity photo for making png files from the car and our heads
(with a transparant background)
It was a lot of work, especially since I never did it before, but it was nice to make.
I can make a tutorial when I have the time

That would be amazing, do you mean each movement is an image, please? I'm a media and photography student and I'm very interested in learning new things. Thank You

I have to find the time (because that would be something new for me too).
But I used another tutorial that does sort of the same.
It should get you started.
No, it is not made frame by frame.
A lot of that work is done for you by Davinci Resolve.
(you can download that for free at their site with only minimal limitations)
Affinity photo is not free, but is a great (and cheap) alternative for Photoshop.

Yeah, I have both of them, but I'm still quite green to both of the softwares. Thank You very much for sharing this tutorial. I'll give this tutorial a go. Thank You

It is a bit far to Malta for me
OP has a 'follow me' mode. So you can track yourself while walking around
Hehe yeah, I've heard. I'll try to attach a microphone one day and see what happens. I already have a RODE one, hope it's compatible. If I may ask, where are you from?

I'm from The Netherlands (you should be able to see that below my avatar, that is my last know location (to DJI)
That is how I noticed yours too!
I would suggest recording the music in a room or so before filming and doing a fake later for the video.
Maybe even speed up the song while play backing so you can make a slow motion effect later

Yeah, a slow-motion would be nice halfway through, thanks for the tips. Still can't understand why I need to speed up the music. Can't I edit the footage and baking separately?
