The blurrier ones are 80% gain on everything.  The sharper ones are at 120% gain on everything.  As you can see 120% gain is the best.  Even on the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 the images were better at 120% than on 80% but M2P had better images at night even at 1" ISO100 vs the P4PV2.0 1/2" ISO100.  Most likely, the M2 is less susceptible to yaw drifts due to its altitude prop design offsets from the front and the rear as well as the camera being at the nose instead of directly in the middle of CG rotation.

On a sunny day, at long-distance, the P4PV2.0 produces sharper images at range than the M2P so in a way it looks kind of like this but not as bad.  Even with 28mm M2P vs 24mm P4PV2.0, the long-distance sharpness is Better than the M2P.  I've done the same test but didn't post.

The only thing we should be worried about is overheating and overloading the critical flight computer but flying around in 120% was incredible for the finger-to-eye feel.  It felt better.

If you want a bigger comparison, think about the lens being upgraded to a better glass but for free.

100% the M2P is better than the P4PV2.0 at night.  Braking vibrations detected at 120% vs 80% on video.  120% for photos is a must but for video 80%.

It takes so long to set 80% and 120% as you have to go through each and keycode in all the numbers.  If we can have a switch, it would be cool.  We do this with our custom quads.  It would be cool if DJI just releases a firmware for the computer to be in maximum gain available when taking a photo.

Left and right on the sticks quickly.  I forgot to AF the P4.

How are you changing the gain on the M2P?

You navigate to the next page after the main one where you set RTH height.

The P4 controller is sooo much better at being cinematic even with 0.40 expos.  I have to do 0.15 to be as smooth because the sticks are a lot shorter.

The cinematic brain-to-finger gear ratio of the P4 is like direct-drive 1:1 but w/ the Smart Controller it's like 3:1 or 1:3.
