Im planning on using an external microphone for the osmo pocket. ive heard some rumors that using a usb c to 3.5mm jack adapter and plugging in a 3.5mm mic will automatically work when using the osmo pocket. This already sounds a little hard to believe, but I will also be using the smartphone adapter. So that means that not only will i have the dji mimo app open and recording, it also means i dont know where to plug in the mic; the osmo pocket or the smartphone? and this is assuming that it will even work at all. This is the usb c to 3.5mm adapter that I ordered for the osmo pocket (again, assuming if it even works at all. if not, thats money down the drain!)

That adapter from Amazon will not work.
You will find that only the Official DJI adapter will work and then only with certain microphones.
