I read about the new EU regulations.
By 2023 or so, I probably will not be allowed to fly my MP because it won't be CE certified to the new regulations.
And probably miss the transponder needed to send it's ID.

I read an article where this has recently come into force in Canada and DJI gained approval for legacy drones without air sense to still be flown (including the MP1). I believe the only implication in the UK is that without air sense (after 01 July 2022) you will not be allowed to fly over people - even at 50m as you presently are. TBH I doubt I'll be flying an Inspire 1 or even Mavic 2 in three years time and may explain why DJI have not released any new drones in 2019...

I doubt that too!
But for me I was not planning on investing that kind of money, so MP1 would probably still be around for me.
For the EU (as far as I have read) there will be a transition period, but after that the older drones will not be allowed to fly anymore.

But I will see what happens....
