Just looking over my video footage from my flights with the Inspire 1 yesterday evening and came across this freeze frame shot - missing three wood pigeons by on a couple of metres - too close!

It was indeed - unfortunately bird are beyond you control in most cases but no harm done

That was close, glad that it didn't get hit

It happens and is mostly luck that your drone doesn't get hit - pleased to say I'm yet to experience an actually bird strike on any of my drones to date but this is closest I've seen so far. Eagles are the worst as they can take down almost any drone (including Inspires) and are typically protected by the authorities - I would be more concerned for the bird of prey than my drone so best to fly well clear of them whereas some pigeons are just annoyng lol

I think your Inspire would have won vs a pigeon. BTW, amazing distance! Over 11,000,000 feet. Quite an amazing accomplishment.
